Nina and the Monster Under the Bed

Nina was a little girl who was scared of the dark. Every night, she worried about a monster under her bed. She imagined it had big, sharp claws and scary eyes.

One night, Nina heard a strange noise. Scritch, scratch, scritch! She pulled her covers up tight and squeezed her eyes shut. She was very scared!

But then, Nina heard her mom's voice. "Nina, are you okay?"

Nina peeked out from under the covers. Her mom was smiling. "There's no monster under your bed, sweetie," Mom said. "It was just the wind."

Nina felt much better. She knew her mom was right. There was no monster. It was just her imagination making her scared.

From that day on, Nina wasn't as scared of the dark. She still thought about the monster sometimes, but she knew her mom was always there to help.
